This photo of Kanye West posing with Aziz Ansari and his parents after one of his shows has been making the internet rounds lately and immediately jumped into the discussion for greatest-thing-ever-in-the-last-week-or-so. Without further ado, let’s break down the picture Zapruder-style and discuss my favorite parts of this masterpiece:
Let’s start with Mr. Ansari. I’m not sure why he’s halfway out of the frame. Is it because he’s taking the photo himself with his other hand? Or is it because he fancies himself too cool for this shot? If it’s the latter, I can’t blame him. He’s obviously taught Aziz all he knows about swag. Check out his scarf game y’all.
While you may be distracted by the quintessential Aziz-face going on here, don’t ignore the fact that he’s holding a topped off glass of wine. The Aziz-face is obviously because he just got caught getting his drink on by his parents.
Why does Kanye look like he’s photoshopped into this photo? BECAUSE HE ALWAYS LOOKS THAT WAY IN EVERY PHOTO! (Also, it feels like he’s staring right into the depths of my soul right now.)
