Ever since we saw this memorable video of Indian luger Shiva Keshavan’s training regimen, we knew that he had the ability to get out of treacherous situations. Those skills came in handy on Friday when the 32-year-old Keshavan fell off of his sled during a practice run on Sochi’s luge track.

While zooming down the track at around 70 miles-per-hour, Keshavan lost control of his sled while rounding a sharp curve about mid-way through the course. Somewhat incredibly, Keshavan managed to get back onto his sled and complete the run.

“This is incredible. He somehow managed to get back onto the sled. That is incredible,” NBC’s announcer exclaims.

“What an example of athleticism,” he continued.

Keshavan was uninjured after the accident and walked off the track. You can watch the entire run on the NBC Olympics website.
