Kamran Khan Debuts New Web Series

What if your subconscious showed up in person one day and started voicing your thoughts out loud? That’s the basic premise of My Not So Subconscious, a new web series created by filmmaker and actor Kamran Khan (The Domestic Crusaders). The twist here is that Khan isn’t embodying and voicing the subconscious of a guy. He’s the inner voice of Jennifer Betit Yen’s female character Dani, a 20-something New Yorker with “plenty of friends, a reliable boyfriend and a decent — albeit boring — job.”

If the trailer’s preview of the series piques your interest, Asian American Film Lab’s AAFL TV has all the season one episodes online and another season may be on the way. In his Yahoo! Voices interview last month, Khan said that his upcoming projects include a second season of My Not So Subconscious.
