As the Spring and Summer 2015 TV seasons wind down, I’m bummed by Archie Panjabi’s exit from The Good Wife, The Mindy Project’s cancellation, and even the short shelf-life of Weird Loners, which starred brilliant newcomer Meera Rohit Kumbhani. All three featured talented desi women as captivating, wonderful, headstrong characters — revolutionizing the way desis are portrayed on American television.
Which is why news of a full series order of Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico is great news. Even better? The trailer looks promising — a thriller possibly in league with ABC heavyweights Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder. See for yourself below.
