One Direction’s least popular member is… Zayn? Malala’s book banned in some Pakistani schools: Some Pakistani schoolchildren won’t be reading the life story of Pakistan’s most famous teenager any time soon. The heads of two Pakistani private school associations announced on Sunday that I Am Malala would be banned from the shelves of their affiliated schools. The reason? Among other things, they fear that Malala “became a tool in the hands of the Western powers.” (Al Jazeera)

The story of a blogger, Nikki Haley and The Sikh Religious Society of South Carolina: Back in 2012, a South Carolina blogger wrote that Governor Nikki Haley would soon be indicted for tax fraud “stemming from work with the Sikh Religious Society, of which her parents are leaders.” The story was widely picked up by media outlets, despite the fact that it wasn’t true. The Sikh Religious Society then sued for defamation and eventually settled out of court. (Buzzfeed)
