If you haven’t heard about the Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif film Bang Bang yet, it’s okay, because the movie is more than likely already playing in a theater near you! The movie opens across the US and Canada today. As Bollywood’s biggest release ever, this official remake of the 2010 Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day is taking over 5100 screens by storm worldwide. With such an impressive premiere in the works, it’s only fitting that the soundtrack and music videos be equally awe-inspiring.
The Bang Bang album is a small soundtrack by Bollywood standards, with only five tracks total, but all the songs make you want to incessantly hit repeat. Composed by music directors Vishal and Shekhar, the album easily balances the catchy “Tu Meri” and “Bang Bang” with the romantic “Meherbaan” and “Uff.”
As a follow-up to their hit 2011 film together, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Hrithik and Katrina ooze chemistry in the previews of the music videos — particularly in the title track’s vibrant choreography that features Hrithik’s tribute to Michael Jackson.
