When Danny Met Mindy. It’s no secret that Mindy Kaling is a big fan of Nora Ephron and her movies, including When Harry Met Sally. A fan-made video shows the many similarities between Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal in that 1989 film with Danny and Mindy in the current TV series The Mindy Project. This Show’s the Bomb. The South Asian Women’s Creative Collective (SAWCC) brings an exhibit to the Queens Museum in New York, “A Bomb With Ribbon Around It.” Curated by Raúl Zamudio, the exhibition includes installation, performance, photography, and painting, and will run through mid-January. Watch Ray’s Brilliance. A Satyajit Ray retrospective will begin January 17, 2014, at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, with the screening of the 1955 movie Pather Panchali.
