Pop/R&B singer-songwriter Jai Matt wants to get to know you better in this tabla remixed rendition of the Christmas classic, “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire” and “This Christmas.” Matt, who hails from Kerala, India, has been making Europop for years, most recently releasing “Kiss the Sky” with Robert M. According to his record label, Matt has been singing since the age of three and draws inspiration from Usher, Enrique and Gavin DeGraw. It’s a smooth cover, but what really makes it pop is the tabla, played by Jomy George, who hails from Philadelphia. Well done, fellas.
