Editor’s Note: The Sacramento Kings hosted a “Sikh Community Appreciation” themed event during the Kings vs. Timberwolves game on Sunday, April 13. The pre-game and half-time performances celebrated Vaisakhi, the birth of Sikhism, with traditional Punjabi dances to highlight the Sikh community and culture. Photographer Preston Merchant covered the event and was gracious enough to share some of his photos with The Aerogram. The Kings beat the Timberwolves 106-103.
